Christine Davis
Christine Davis started Annointed Assistant, a virtual Assistant Company on January 1, 2006. While pregnant with her son, she was working in the corporate world doing a job that she loved, but was finding that her job was beginning to keep her from her husband of 7 years and her 4 year old daughter.
Being a firm believer in the word of God, Christine didn’t believe that God wanted her working more than being with her husband and her daughter.
Christine stayed with the company until the birth of her son. After her maternity leave she returned to work, still praying for direction. After 4 weeks Christine came to realize that this was not where she was supposed to be. Offering the company a proposal to stay with them, under the condition of working at home, or putting in her two weeks notice the company denied her request of working at home. Therefore after working for two weeks Christine, walking in major faith, left the company praying that God would show her what her purpose in life was.
Being at home with her new born son and her four year old daughter left no doubt that she was making the first step into the right direction. Still not completely fulfilled, Christine continued to pray for direction.
After walking into a bookstore, Christine was lead to pick up a particular book that she saw. After opening the book, she saw a company that allowed women to work from home. She wrote down the information and contacted them. After 2 interviews, several tests, and Hurricane Katrina, Christine was accepted and hired as a Virtual Assistant.
While working for this company for a year, Christine took all of the classes they offered and accepted all of the clients. Shortly thereafter God began giving her the name of her own company, leading her to organizations to join, directing her how to build her own website, and the list goes on. In a one year time period, Christine had her company name, logo, website, and clients, and was able to leave the job placement company and work on her own.
Since then Christine has operated her company in faith and with much prayer. She has gone through hard times and has lost some things that she thought was important. But God has never failed her, and He has never left her alone. Christine has never gone without anything that she needed, and her faith as well as her business has grown.
Being an Anointed Assistant is not the name of her company, but it is a description of who she is, and what her purpose in life is.
Christine says, “God has planted a seed in us all, but how you water your seed will decide if it what die or if it will grow. I have chosen to water the seeds in my life, and to plant them in the lives of others.”
