Set Yourself Apart

I don’t know about you but for me, it seems as though the days are flying by!

I was just thinking about how much work and projects I need to outsource because I cannot keep up with all of it. One of my primary projects has been re-thinking my whole business structure and that’s because my friend Kelly at WahmTalkRadio talked about this on her show this week. It’s a very compelling message that really gets you to think! When you get a chance, I encourage you to stop by her show to listen.

A while back, Kelly wrote a fabulous report on: The Power of a Focused Business. I’m actually taking myself back through that report because I REALLY need to! It will actually shape you up or you’ll keep doing the same things over and over and getting the same old boring results - NONE! LOL!

I was talking with my friend, Dr. Taffy Wagner the other day. One of the things she said in our conversation was the word, “mindset.” Since then it seems like everything I read or hear relates back to that conversation! It lets me know when the Holy Spirit is urging me to step back and re-evaluate things. Dr. Taffy is so in tune with the word of God AND she is also obedient to sharing the messages imparted to her. She recently did a series that I know is going to change the lives of many people! Well, those who have an ear to hear.

One of the things that I shared with Dr. Taffy is the fact that I’m definitely one of those people that need “guidance” in the area of finances ESPECIALLY biblical guidance. I don’t mind saying that at all because it’s the beginning of deliverance, amen? I’ve just always purchased what I wanted, never took into consideration that being in debt is NOT the way God desires for us to live.

She even put a package together called: Step Your Way Out of Debt

Here’s what’s included:

The Debt Stops Here package for Christians - contains audio teachings, Amazon.com Bestseller, Debt Dilemma and notepad. Audio teachings are: Are You Eating the Fruit of Life or Death?, How a Poverty Mindset keeps you in a Debt Dilemma, Can you truly Believe and Receive and Revelation and Application.

ooooh-weeeeeee! It’s truly a blessing indeed. You can see Stair Step Your Way Out of Debt here

So, that’s why I told you I would be talking about Stewardship. Yes finances, business, family, health and life ALL are part of being a good steward.

Check this out:

Luke 16:1-2 reads:

And He (Jesus) said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods. And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.

Now steward in this sense means: manager. Everything that we have is a gift. It is on loan to us from God. We can’t take it with us when we leave this earth, amen? It’s temporal! But, it’s how we “manage” these gifts that mean the most to God.

Now watch this: “for thou mayest be no longer steward.” In other words, you’re fired! You can no longer manage the things I thought I could entrust you with.

This is from the amplified bible because I want you to receive this message as I have:

Luke 16:10-12

He who is faithful in a very little [thing] is faithful also in much, and he who is dishonest and unjust in a very little [thing] is dishonest and unjust also in much. Therefore if you have not been faithful in the [case of] unrighteous mammon (deceitful riches, money, possessions), who will entrust to you the true riches? And if you have not proved faithful in that which belongs to another [whether God or man], who will give you that which is your own [that is, the true riches]?

Again, I don’t know about you but, I got that message!

Let’s go further: 1 Corinthians 6:19-20;

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

So if you were bought, that means God owns YOU! And everything that you think you own, really belongs to Him!

Wouldn’t that lead you to believe that He expects for us to be good stewards over what is really His? Also, to show Him that we appreciate it enough to take good care of it? Yeah, I thought so :)

Therefore I leave you with this on the subject of Stewardship:

Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. 1 Corinthians 4:2

Yes (it is well) and Amen!

Now we’ll talk about “Set Yourself Apart.” All of this is part of being a good steward as well, especially in your business. Setting yourself apart means that you have your own identity, your own brand per se. You may be amongst 100 other direct sales people but that doesn’t mean that you can’t be different.

What’s your USP (unique selling proposition?) Who’s your audience, ie, your niche? Are you like all the others or is your message different? Do you know who your target market is or even better, what a target market is and how you should go about designing your plan of action?

God made us all in the image of Him but we are all uniquely different in personality, size and shape. There are no two people exactly alike! Therefore take your gift and set yourself apart - God made YOU special and unique, amen? Amen!

I have a report I’d like to share with you: Set Yourself Apart: Knowing Your Target Market & Unique Selling Proposition (a business report) that I know you’ll appreciate. You are welcomed to pick up your copy here.

Until next time, remember to pray without ceasing, speak with much love and patience and glorify God in ALL that you do!

Thank you for the invitation, Regina. The information is timely and helpful. We’re lucky enough to be at a church that teaches Biblical financial wisdom, but it’s good to have the Word confirmed by others.

Blessings,
Mara
