I HATE My Job!
I’ve been thinking about the scripture: “to whom much is given, must is required.” Pretty profound message isn’t it?
For many of us, God has called us to work, whether it be on a job, our own businesses, a housewife, a single mom or single dad, all of those things are still some what of a “job,” wouldn’t you agree?
But not always is a job considered to be dull or negative. I’ve talked to a lot of people who love their jobs and that type of attitude equals to being grateful no matter what. There are so many people who don’t even have roofs over their heads and I’m sure a lot of them would welcome a job at any given point and time if not just to take care of their families.
I’ve personally always cringed at the idea of working for someone else. I’ve had my share of Corporate America however, I remained grateful at all times that God blessed me to earn a living.
Whether you work a 9 to 5 job or in business for yourself, this scripture still stands as is:
“to whom much is given, much is required.”
I found an awesome explanation of this profound scripture taken from Luke 12:48, the writer indicates that we should read verses 42-48 in order to receive the fullness of such message. Read the entire message for yourself here, it will only take 1 minute of your time.
If you’re struggling with your day to day “job/business,” take it to the Lord. Ask God to give you wisdom and the strength to be grateful as well as a good steward over what He has blessed you with. God is faithful to perform according to HIS word, amen?
