Advertise: Yes or No?
If you came to this blog post thinking, “what is she going to try to sell me now?” My answer is: Nothing.
I don’t sell, I empower others with the truth.
I’ve been online since 1995, I’ve purchased so much stuff that it would literally make your head spin! Therefore, I’m surely not in the convincing business. I know what works and what doesn’t because I did my homework. Was buying all of the info products beneficial for my business? Some yes but most of it, no. Do I regret doing it? Nope. Why? Because I’ve learned a whole lot about online marketing since then. I’m what you call a no-hype, no nonsense, tell it like it is, kinda girl.
Quite frankly. I am sick of all the hype! I am sick of all the emails coming in telling me I need this product or I need that product. No one person could possibly need all that junk talking about the same thing over and over! Really!
Today I get this email about Adsense and why I need this book, then I get another one telling me I need another kind of Adsense book, from the same guy! I’m like, “why didn’t you just put all the information in one book?” Duh!
You see I can spot this stuff a mile away but at the same time, I know a lot of people don’t, especially those coming online for the first time. It seems confusing to them as well as a sales tactic just to get them to buy stuff! On top of that, most people don’t have a clue what to buy, like who should they trust and why do they need it?
FACT:
Everybody is trying to sell something and guess what? All of it is not meant for you!
As a person in direct sales/networking marketing for years, if there’s one thing I’ve learned is that you have to keep focused! Stay in your niche for goodness sake! Test products and services and see if they fit your need. If they do, you’re on the right track but, I’ve got to tell you, if you get side-tracked, you’re going to have to start all over again and who wants to do that?
FACT:
If you’re really serious about your direct sales business, then search for products and services that will provide you with a step by step plan with a plan of action. Follow it all the way through. If you do this, simply put, you’re going to see results.

Another thing, if you are not advertising - and I mean focused advertising how do you expect to get the word out about your business? And please, stop looking for just free stuff. Did you know that free stuff usually has a larger price tag than products that have a price tag on them?
There is ALWAYS some type of catch to anything free. Focus on the things that matter, set a budget for your business and do what it takes to succeed (as long as it’s ethical.)
