Fight the Good Fight of Faith!

Have you ever second guessed your choice of business? Is it mostly during the time of a challenge?

Often times we become discouraged when the storms of challenge set in. It is usually during this time that we question our choices. be encouraged. Seek the Lord for wisdom and understanding. “Fight the good fight, finish the course, keep the faith; buy the truth and sell it not.”

Don’t allow your mind to be blinded by your own thoughts, wishes and hopes of a prospering business.

“We should all seek the truth regardless of what others may say, thought or done, and having learned we should obey as quickly as did Saul of Tarsus, the Philippian jailer, Cornelius, or the three thousand on Pentecost. They did not wait to consult some living friend or to consider the belief of some of the past. When they were sure of God’s will, they accepted without hesitation.

We all need to be sure we are right in God’s sight and then go ahead.” Irven Lee

I’ve talked to several people who struggle with the daily activities of running a business. Some fight the good faith, while others struggle with faith. I’ve learned that God has placed a purpose in each one of us and that it is our responsibility to (sincerely) ask for a heart towards Him. Ask yourself, are you willing to trust Him completely? If so, understand that your ways are not His ways and your thoughts are not His thoughts. God does not operate as humans. He is a spirit. Therefore we are not completely converted as spirit however, as you yield in submission to His will, He will order your footsteps and provide you with an understanding that could only come from Him. This, will be your confirmation.

“Lord, send Me!”

Have you ever thought about how challenging it is to do the work of “Him” that sent me? God truly has a sense of humor and definitely has the “heads” up advantage, wouldn’t you agree? You see, He gave me the task of the Christian [business] community and all the while He knew it would be a challenge! Oh, I’m not complaining, as a matter of fact, it reminds me of the scripture:

“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” Isaiah 6:8

I know that God’s purpose shall be made known, no matter how long it takes, no matter what the struggle - His word shall not go void! I love that, don’t you? Here’s my perception of taking on God’s desire. There is NO failure in God, If He gives it to you, He’ll definitely bring you through it. The challenge of “human nature” (i.e., the flesh) is, can we endure?

To endure means to, “To continue in the same state without perishing; to last; to remain,” or “To bear with patience; to suffer without opposition or without sinking under the pressure or affliction; to bear up under; to put up with; to tolerate.”

I don’t know about you but just because I’m a Christian doesn’t mean “I’ve arrived!” As a matter of fact, the cross gets heavier.

BUT (God), will give you a peace that surpasseth all understanding, He will give you the strength to accomplish His will and because you love Him with all your heart and soul, you will find that endurance is null and void. A submissive heart and will towards God, shall yield an appetite of prayer and knowledge for reading the word of God daily thereby, receiving revelation knowledge to satisfy hunger!

Blessings for continued success in two thousand and six!
